PRODUCT DETAILS

Coo-Var Floorpack Concrete Repair Mortar is a heavy-duty mortar kit, ideal for repairs to floors subject to high impact, abrasive or corrosive conditions.

Best Uses

Coo-Var Floorpack is a solvent free, two component, heavy duty epoxy mortar for repairing concrete. When cured, Coo-Var Floorpack has good impact, abrasion and chemical resistance with the ability to cure in low temperatures and damp, wet conditions. Coo-Var Floorpack is supplied in pre-weighed packs consisting of 2.5kg of Mortar Base and 2.5kg of Mortar
Hardener plus ½ litre of solvent, gloves and instructions.

  • Solvent Free
  • Good impact, abrasion and chemical resistance
  • Suitable Surfaces: Brick, Masonry and Concrete

Coo-Var Floorpack is for use in areas of high impact, abrasion and chemically corrosive conditions. Large voids in concrete beams, precast units, concrete floors and runways. Coo-Var Floorpack will adhere to concrete, grano and asphalt.

Application

Concrete should be a minimum of 3-4 weeks old. The surfaces should be sound, clean, free from oil, grease or other contamination. Laitance should be removed from concrete and metal surfaces should be wire brushed or sand blasted. Bolts and metal surfaces should be degreased. The surface should be dry.

PRIMING
Although priming is not always necessary, wetting the surface with the thinners will help penetration and adhesion.

MIXING
Mix equal quantities of Coo-Var Floorpack Base and Coo-Var Floorpack Hardener. Each component is a different colour, and the final mix should be an even grey colour. Any quantity may be mixed depending on the amount of mortar required for the job. The use of smaller mixes is more economical as no material is lost, due to the more rapid setting of larger mixes.
The remainder of the Bases and Hardener may be kept for at least one year.

APPLICATION
5-30°C – Coo-Var Floorpack Mortar is applied to the prepared concrete and well-packed into the uneven surface. It is finally levelled with a steel trowel. If the trowel is wiped with a cloth moistened in Coo-Var G.P. Thinners Q265/1S it is possible to get a smooth finish. It is best to apply in layers if a thick coating is required. All tools can be cleaned in Coo-Var G.P. Thinners Q265/1.
