Resbuild MMA Smoothscreed FR has been specifically designed to provide a seamless, hard wearing, slip resistant floor in compliance with section 12 requirements for London Underground stations.

Resbuild MMA Smooth Screed FR exhibits very fast curing characteristics, allowing a rapid return to service. Provides flame retardant and smoke suppressant properties with no corrosive or halogen components.

Resbuild MMA Smoothscreed FR is tintable in a full range of RAL Classic and BS 4800 colour finishes.

Primer - Resbuild MMA Primer at 0.25kg per m2
Body Coat - Resbuild MMA Smoothscreed FR at 5.6kg per m2
Aggregate - Silicon Carbide at 4-6kg per m2
Sealer - Resbuild MMA Sealer FR. 1st Coat at 0.5kg per m2, 2nd Coat at 0.3kg per m2

Application

Concrete or screed substrate should have a minimum compressive strength of 25MPa and be free from laitance, dust and other contamination. The residual moisture content should not be more than 6% and the substrate should be free from rising damp and hydrostatic pressure. Suitable mechanical preparation should be carried out prior to application of the system. Please refer to the model specification for further information on substrate preparation.
