Rustoleum Metal Cladding PVDF Primer is a solvent based super adhesion primer for use on PVDF and PDVF2 metal profile cladding.
Best Uses
Rustoleum PVDF Primer has been specially developed as an adhesion primer for use on PVDF and PDVF2 metal profile cladding. PVDF Primer is also ideal for application to new un-weathered galvanised steel, zinc or aluminium sheeting. As part of the Rustoleum 10 year warranty system it is recommended that the PDVF primer is applied before the first coat of Noxyde.

This single pack solvent based super adhesion primer has been formulated from modified vinyl resins that offer exceptional hydrophobic qualities (Cori test report ref. N/8384) as well as offering outstanding performance as an adhesion promoting primer to smooth and difficult to coat metal substrates.
Application
SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove grease, oil and all other surface contaminations by alkaline or high pressure cleaning in combination with appropriate detergents. Sand intact coatings to roughen the surface slightly. Remove zinc or aluminium corrosion with Surfa-Etch 108. The surface must be clean and dry.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
To ensure homogeneity, coating materials should be thoroughly stirred prior to use.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Apply in a dry and well-ventilated area.
APPLICATION & THINNING: BRUSH - Do not dilute.
APPLICATION & THINNING: ROLLER - Do not dilute.
APPLICATION & THINNING: AIRLESS SPRAY - If necessary, dilute slightly with maximum 4% volume Thinner 22. Nozzle: 012 - 015 / Pressure: 180 - 200 bars.
APPLICATION & THINNING: AIR-ATOMISED SPRAY - If necessary dilute slightly with maximum 4% volume Thinner 22.
