Selemix 7-510 2 pack polyurethane topcoat is formulated with enamel and will provide a high opacity, high gloss finish which has excellent resistant and durable making it perfect for protecting ferrous steel.
Please note, the Hardener is not included with this product. Compatible Hardeners are Selemix Direct 9-060 Extra PU Hardener.
Selemix 7-510 Polyurethane Topcoat will offer excellent level of opacity and high gloss finish. The product has been formulated with enamel making it highly resistant and durable coating ideal for highly aggressive environments. Selemix 7-510 is available in a large range of colours and can be tinted to most RAL, BS and NCS colour codes.
When used to topcoat an applicable primer as part of a Selemix paint system it is perfect for protecting steel, galvanised steel, black steel, previously coated steel, light alloys, stainless steel, agricultural equipment, tractors, trailers, harvester, cars, truck, motorcycles, steel structures, plant equipment, excavators, diggers, dumpers, earth movers, glass fibre reinforced polyester GRP, previously coated steel, garden furniture plus many more.
Best uses
Selemix 7-510 Polyurethane Topcoat is best used to over coat Selemix primers 7-413 & 7-414 when a resistant, durable high gloss finish is required.

Application
Selemix 7-510 Polyurethane Topcoat can be applied by both conventional and airless spray equipment. When applied at a 50 micron dry film thickness Selemix 7-510 has a theoretical coverage rate of 6.4-7.2 m2 per litre.
For best results it is recommended that 2 coats are applied over a compatible primer coat. Selemix 7-510 is a 2 pack paint that will need to be combined with Selemix Hardener 9-060 at a general ratio of 4 to 1 in order to cure.
Selemix 7-510 will also need to be thinned with Selemix Thinners 1-420, 1-208 or 1-470 prior to use, always consult the technical data for applicable ratio prior to application.
