Sherwin Williams Magnalux 41V2 is a glass flake vinyl ester acrylic co-polymer that is approved to NORSOK Rev 6 System 7A and 7B.

Best Uses

Sherwin Williams Magnalux 41V2 is formulated for immersion environments where superior resistance to chemical attack is required. This product is suitable for many chemical environments within the full pH range. Sherwin Williams Magnalux 41V2 has excellent resistance to de-mineralised water and good resistance to many solvents. It is also used in aggressive atmospheric or spillage conditions (bund areas).

Primer: For temperatures up to 85°C use Magnalux 42PP, for temperatures above 85°C use Magnalux 41VP. Sherwin Williams Magnalux 41V2 is overcoatable with itself or Magnalux 43VC.

Application

Blast clean to Sa2½ ISO 8501-1:2007. Surface profile in the range 75-125 microns. Ensure surfaces to be coated are clean, dry and free from all surface contamination.

Apply using airless spray. Use a brush for small areas or touch ups only.
