PRODUCT DETAILS

Teamac Marine Satin Finish is a traditional high quality, modified long oil alkyd marine coating. It has a good resistance to oil and water and has been designed for use in a marine environment on areas such as boat roofs.

Best Uses

Teamac Marine Satin Finish can be used where low reflection and glare is required, such as boat roofs. Dries to a durable satin finish. Teamac Marine Satin Finish is suitable for application directly to prepared GRP, iron or steel. Teamac Marine Satin Finish is ideal for yachts, power boars, dinghies, narrow boats and other marine applications.

For greater protection, prime with Teamac Zinc Phosphate Metal Primer. On wood, use Teamac Wood Primer.

Application

All surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. Surfaces have to be prepared and primed with the suitable primer for that substrate. Can be used directly on GRP. Existing painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased and sanded to ensure an adequate key is produced. Remove all loose, flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate, then prepare accordingly.

Mix well before use. As dictated by normal good painting practice. Care must be taken during application that the temperature is above the dew point to avoid any contamination. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
