Tikkurila Helmi Primer Pohjamaali
Tikkurila Helmi Primer (Pohjamaali) is a waterborne primer for interior painting of wooden, chipboard, wood fibre board and metal surfaces, prior to application of water-based topcoats. Helmi Primer is an M1 category product.
Best Uses
Helmi Primer is best used a primer for interior wood prior to the application of water-based top coats. It is also suitable for repainting surfaces previously coated with an alkyd or acid catalysed paint.
Tikkurila Helmi Primer is suitable for use on a range of items, including:

Application
Helmi Primer can be applied by Airless Spray, Roller or Brush. The area to be painted should be cleaned and dried prior to application. Wash down any previously painted surfaces with Maalipesu Cleaning Agent and rinse carefully with water.
Stir Helmi Primer thoroughly before use and thin with water, if necessary.
Important Note: Tikkurila Helmi Primer is not suitable for repainting surfaces previously treated with nitrocellulose products.
