Zinga Zingaceram HS

Zinga Zingaceram HS is a high specification, 2 pack, anti corrosion intermediate MIO coat as a sealer over Zinga for steel structures at risk from severe abrasion, chloride and chemical exposure.

Best Uses

Zingaceram Hs provides a durable, chemical resistant coating suitable for both structural steelwork and sub sea pipelines. Curing to give a grey finish, Zingaceram HS is normally used on top of a base of Zinga as a unique epoxy primer. Its pigmentation is composed of both ceramic fillers and micaceous iron oxide (MIO) flakes that form over 200 layers of metallic platelets throughout the dried film. These platelets act as both moisture and salt barriers.

Application

When the waiting time between the successive coats is abnormally prolonged or in extremely polluted areas, the Zinganised surface can become contaminated. All contaminations that hamper the adhesion of the paint should be removed by appropriate means. Salt deposits or other water-soluble contaminations should be
removed with water and brush, water under high pressure or steam. Possible white rust on ZINGA should be removed with water and rigid nylon brush.

Do not apply with a humidity over 85%. Do not apply on a damp or wet surface. Zinga EP Thinner HS should be used for spray application. Surface temperature should be 3°C and 60°C. Zingaceram HS can be applied on top of ZINGA by brush and roller or conventional spray-gun or by airless spraying. Dilute 10-15% with Zinga EP Thinner HS.
