Tikkurila Otex Adhesion Primer

Tikkurila Otex Adhesion Primer is a quick drying primer specifically designed for surfaces that require special adhesion, such as Glass, Aluminium, Tiles and PVC. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use.

Best Uses

Otex Adhesion Primer is best used on surfaces that require extra adhesion. This includes surfaces such as, glass, tiles, melamine, aluminium, uPVC and zinc-coated sheet metal. As well as exterior window frames painted with polyurethane or catalytic paints. Furthermore, it is also suitable for use on interior wood, chipboard and metal surfaces.

Application

All surfaces must be clean, dry and fully prepared as per the product data sheet before application. Apply Otex Adhesion Primer by brush, roller or airless spray. Stir well before use and thin (if necessary). For brush application thin with White Spirit 1050, and for spray application thin with spray Tikkurila Thinner 1032. 

Sanding is not usually required, as Otex Adhesion Primer levels well. However, when a very smooth surface is preferred, you can sand with a fine dry sanding paper.
