Best Uses

Owatrol Paint Odour Eliminator is an additive that reduces the unpleasant dour caused by most paint products. Works well in almost all paints, stains, primers, epoxy, urethane, varnish, solvents, enamels, glues, adhesives and other surface coatings. This paint additive does not change the characteristics of paint except extending the drying time by 5 - 10%. As it reacts to the air, it completely evaporates out of the paint film taking the odour with it. Suitable for acrylics, urethanes, epoxies, oils, alkyds and water based paints. Also suitable for use with glues and adhesives.

Paint Odour Eliminator Paint Odour Eliminator is not a mask or cover up. It doesn't just hide odours - it chemically neutralises them when activated by oxygen. Nothing happens until the treated paint is applied to the surface by brush or spray exposing the paint to the air. Paint Odour Eliminator molecules attach themselves to paint vapours, causing them to fall away undetected.

Formulated to effectively reduce paint odours by up to 90% resulting in a very high comfort level.

• Does not change the characteristics of the paint except for extending the drying time by 5 – 10 %

Application

Follow the dilution recommendations below, and always start at the low level recommendation for the product used. Do NOT exceed the higher ratio as more product does NOT mean better result – In fact, heavier concentrations may cause a reaction which will in turn create another unwanted odour.

Dilution Required

• Acrylics & water based paints: 5 – 15 ml per 4 litres
• Oil based paints, Alkyd based paints and Enamels: 10 – 25 ml per 4 litres
• Epoxy based paints, Solvents based paints, Primers, Strippers, Thinners & Solvents: 30 – 45 ml per 4 litres
